Hello Axel and Carter! These guys have been doing lots of reading and counting and colouring in at home, along with measuring and leveling and all sorts of fun hands on learning activities. The boys like to spend most of their days outside in the garden and exercising in the orchard. Great to hear boys - there is a loads of learning you can do outdoors!

Ashley's family have been busy working on a special project at home.  It's a 2-seater buggy that will be used on the beach or in the paddock. I can't wait to see it when it's up and running Ashley!

Ashly and Ella did an Easter egg hunt for Easter too. It looks like Ashley found some out in the garden...I wonder how many more they found out there?

There's been lots of activity at Lilliah's house the last few days! She has been busy playing Snakes and Ladders - I love your big mat Lilliah. Plus she and her brother have been playing the card      game 'Go Fish'. I wonder who won? Lilliah has  also been outside in the shed doing some building                                                  with Dad. Looks like the creative juices are flowing....

Thanks for doing some reflection today on your distance learning Matthias. I am really interested to know how your week has been!

You are an expert at writing numbers Matthias!

Hi Jimmy! Great to see what you've been up to at home. It looks like you've been busy doing lots of reading. I love the picture of you fishing - what sort of fish did you catch? You've drawn some cool pictures to show your number sets - fantastic! Keep up the great work.

Mrs Allan's daily walk on the farm

Phew I’m puffed!

Look at your amazing digraph posters Ryka - tino pai! I'm sure they will help you remember how to write those sounds when you are doing your writing at home, just like the ones in the classroom help us when we are at school. You are a great artist and I know that you love to draw. The 'ch' poster is making me hungry with pictures of chicken, chops, chips.....and chocolate - my favourite!

So this is the target you were telling us about in our google meet catch up this morning. Gee looks like you are a pretty good shot Ryka! Did you have to do lots of practice to have such good aim? That reminds me of what we talked about when we did our learning maps - many of us said we wanted to do lots of practice so we get better at our learning. Looks like it has worked for you.

Way to go Lilliah - you have challenged yourself by practicing writing all the numbers to 100! Tino pai, you must feel kia maia for having worked so hard.

What a fantastic effort you have made with your maths learning Jono! I like the way you used the lego to show your sets - hopefully that made the activity more fun for you because we all know what a lego fan you are. Ka pai, keep up the great work👍

Lucy has been busy learning about seahorses. Thanks for telling us about how seahorses camouflage themselves Lucy. Camouflage is a really clever thing that many animals can do to protect themselves from predators.  I'm looking forward to learning more from you about seahorses.

Thanks for sharing your maths learning with us Lucy. I think it's a great idea that you have used natural things from the garden to make your sets. You've created a beautiful piece of artwork while doing maths at the same time - very clever Lucy! Keep up the great work.

Phern and her brother have been busy at home today. They were out collecting autumn leaves that have fallen off the deciduous trees. Well done you two. You'll need to get the rake and make yourselves a leaf pile to play in!

I love the turtle you have made Phern. You did a great job of decorating the shell too!

Yum Charlie your pizza looks delicious!!! What are your toppings? Looks like a Hawaiian pizza maybe?

😃

This looks cool - another way to practice writing your name. I love the colours - it looks like a rainbow!

Here are some ideas for commenting on each others blogs. Please go ahead and comment - it's a great to communicate with each other and give feedback.

Rupert has been researching and writing information about the Australian Thorny Devil! Sounds interesting Rupert. Where did you find out about such an interesting sounding animal? I love your picture.

What a cool idea to write your name with Lego! I wonder if other people could do their names with Lego or something else they can find at home.....

Yummy Honey in my Tummy!

We finally tried the delicious honey that we were kindly given by McGregor's Honey last term. There were four different flavours - one j...
